THE VAGINA AND THE TRUTH ABOUT IT
You must know that the vagina is not the vulva as some have thought it to be.
The vagina is the internal part of the reproductive system. I've made a post about the vulva and vagina.
I don't know what you've heard about the vagina, however here are the fact about it.
* A healthy vagina does smell
There is a myth about vaginas that says a healthy vagina does not smell, I'm telling you now that it does.
This is possible because of sweat or even hormonal influence. The smell could be a faint, light smell and that is normal. But if the smell gets too strong, you need to see a doctor.
* The hymen is not proof of virginity
The hymen is just a thin tissue that is present at the vagina entrance not a sign of virginity.
The absence of the hymen at the vagina is not proof that one has had sex because physical activities like cycling or even any kind of sports can break it.
* Vagina discharge does not mean you have an infection.
Some discharges could indeed signify infection but not all.
As far as the discharge is clear, not sticky, doesn't give you itches and there is no strong odor coming from it, then it's normal.
Discharges could occur, during your ovulation, the time before your period, and could even be more during this period.
* Repeated sexual intercourse doesn't cause the vagina to stretch.
The vagina is made up of muscles and because of hormonal influence whenever there's sexual arousal, it stretches.
* You don't need a special soap for washing your vagina.
It's self-cleaning, every lady's vagina has a particular Ph level that contains good bacteria that kills infection.
The use of soap or fRagrance can cause the good bacteria to die and this may also increase the chance of other types of infection.
I hope this is helpful.
