The 4-month-old puppies

She’s home!!!! Still lots of swelling (in her neck) and loud breathing, but she’s very happy to be home with lots of little tail wags!  Consensus is she was most likely bitten by something as she swallowed it. She will be on prednisone for the next 10 days, and Benadryl for the next five days. Watching her very very closely for any changes at all and if so, straight to the ER vet!

I cannot thank you ALL enough for the hundreds of prayers that I know got her through this very scary day

Mhina was my 1st Introduction into the rescue world, 8 years ago when I saw her picture on Facebook. I was brand new to Facebook, and had no idea that Rescue really even existed. I saw this 4-month-old puppies picture in a Georgia shelter.  I called to inquire about her because I was shocked, it was beyond my comprehension at the time, that a puppy like this would be on a euthanasia list.

I called to inquire and they told me that she had just been taken by a rescue called Recycled Doggies and I should contact a woman who was fostering her, named Lissa Clark, who was fostering her. And that happened to be my late mother’s name. And the rest is history.  And although my girl sometimes does not get the screen time that the naughty obnoxious boys do, she is just as special!
