I’ve struggled so hard not to discuss this. I feel pity. At another end, I feel saddened. I feel heartbroken and I totally can’t understand why people are so heartless, wicked, yet at the tail end, others have completely refused to learn. 

It’s a known fact that Nigeria kills dreams in its millions. Nigeria continually graduate thousands of young people, yet have no work for them. This nation has no plans for her youth populace and for her future. Nigeria is a failed nation and has continued to fail its populace. The leadership of this nation is Nigeria’s greatest problem. However, we can’t all fail together with the nation. 

Two young persons - man and woman, of not more than twenty-one years were in a relationship. They’re both said to be undergraduates of a Nigerian tertiary institution. 

The two lovebirds absolutely have nothing doing, aside that they’re said to be students. However, the boyfriend is a known heavy spender. The young man lives a lavish lifestyle and the girlfriend is a partaker in same luxurious lifestyle. 

They usually wine and dine in tasty restaurants and bars. They take to pubs and night clubs where they shut-down back to back. They ride and can die in the most luxurious hotels. They get the best of toys - from luxurious gifts, and even cars. 

The boyfriend is said to be a known yahoo boy (cyber criminal & fraudster). This accounts for his lavish lifestyle and the money he throws around with reckless abandon. Good thing - the girlfriend knows fully well what job the boyfriend does and is very comfortable with it. 

This girlfriend of the super rich kid knew his boyfriend has somany friends, who are as well, are fraudsters too. Something eventually happened. 

The girlfriend went out with another man. The boyfriend found out that his cherished girlfriend had gone out with, and slept with another man and hell was let loose. He couldn’t tolerate that. No one dares sleep with his girl, especially one that he foots her every bill. 

The boyfriend reached out to some of his friends, three others and they came up with a plan. They needed to ruthlessly deal with the girl and teach her a lessson of her life. The boyfriend connived with his friends and they tracked the young girl down, took her away from her hostel and to a secured apartment. 

While at her hostel, they embarrassed her to stupor in public, beating her up and throwing her into their waiting Mercedes GLK Benz, bounded by every side by the boys. Two in front, two behind with the girl right at the middle. While they took her away, they were humiliating and disrespecting her, slapping and harassing her, while capturing those sad moments on video. 

While on the move, the boyfriend seized all that he had ever gifted her, especially the quite expensive iPhone 11 promax phone and other costly stuffs. 

They got to their destination, and got her into a bed. Since she wanted extra sex, they chose to give her far more than enough. They stripped her stack naked, began to take her nude photos and videos of her private part. It was alleged that the four boys took turns to so ruthlessly rape the young girl. The boyfriend began and offered his friends to join in the rape party. 

It was alleged that while they took turns to rape her, they had more than enough drugs - weed, SK, Loud and had drinks - liquors and spirits. This helpless young girl was said to be held against her wish and raped back to back for onwards of 24hours - a whole day. 

I mean, they were doing it in turns, before one gets exhausted, another was ready; so possibly, they had more than four to five rounds each within 24-hours time frame. The boys had the apartment stocked with food and drinks, while they committed their crime. 

When they finished with her, they threw her out of her house. The young girl down in strength, cried her eyes and soul out, yet no one came to her rescue. When the news broke, and people got to hear about it, many offered to help her arrest the boys and deal with them, but she vehemently refused, and infact, was covering up for the boys. 

It’s possible that they’ve threatened her with whatsoever. What’s in line right now is far beyond threatening. But, the young girl wouldn’t know nor succumb. Some said it’s because she still loves him. The boys, it was alleged had threatened to kill her should she ever tell anyone what played out. She refused to give the identity of those rapists. 

In what has turned out to be a cheap blackmail, the boys ignorantly and so foolishly had gone ahead to share the photos and videos of them and the young girl while they were abusiveky raping her in turns, showing when they got to her hostel, beat her up, picked her and threw into their waiting vehicle, moved her to an apartment where they took turns cyclically to rape her. 

In thesame video, while her nakedness and private part was videoed and shown repeatedly by the boys; I saw a very pathetic part, as a part of punishing her, while left naked, they threw her legs apart forcefully and were slapping hard right on her private part while she shouted in pains. I felt the pain that she could be going through. 

They shared hotel photos of the girl where she appeared elegantly dressed with a beautiful dinner neavy blue gown and another, when they picked her up from her hostel, molested and abused her there where she had a white hoodie and bumshot, then conjoined it with where they stripped her naked and made a nonsense of her.

The boys being so stupid, ignorant and heartless went further to share the videos online, with hope at having it as a blackmail, without knowing that they’ve so freely given out their identity. This isn’t any fallacy nor any fiction. This is a true life story, and it happened quite recently. I’ve the video, but definitely can’t share it online.

A lady had shared the video with me. She got it from someone else, told me about it and went ahead to show me how reckless, careless and foolish some young girls can be - solely in a quest for what they feel is good life of wealth, pleasure and fantasy. And how some young men are so wicked and heartless. She wanted to also know if there’s anything I can do.

Now, this girlfriend of an obvious abusive boy knew what his boyfriend was into. They both dined and wined together. They lived the life to its fullest. As she’s a pretty young girl, it’s possible that many able bodied young men who are very responsible with known means of income had asked her out earlier, but maybe, just maybe, they aren’t enough wealthy as it where. 

Then came a handsome looking young man, who for the records might be a cerebral and well known yahoo boy. He throws gifts and offers pleasurable moments that catches the girls fantasy, and they begin to date. It blossoms and flourishes. The girl knows quite frankly that he’s dealing with a thief and drug addict, and an abusive one at that. 

All those aren’t enough to justify rape. All those aren’t enough to justify orgy-like rape, one that has involved not just his stupid and abusive boyfriend, but also, his league of foolish friends too. It’s fearful to imagine four men hit back to back at one lady, in turns. In this case, those who are on drugs and are determined to hurt badly. 

I for one, I’ve a problem with people who do drugs. Any substance that can make you act out so recklessly. Any substance that can distort your acts and behaviors. Any substance that can so sharply and so suddenly make you rise in rage or force you to become forceful, pompous or brutal isn’t one for me. However, this girl knows quite well his man and the circle of friends he has. Maybe, just maybe also, he’s a full partaker in those hard drugs from time. 

I can’t share the video. It’s sad. It’s heartbreaking. It’s very annoying. 

There’re many others suffering in their own mess that they call relationships. In our tertiary institutions today, you find very charming young girls in 500level living, while doing the dishes, washing clothes and cooking for their 100level student yahoo boyfriend. They co-inhabit happily like even married couples. They take every insult, assault and abuse without complaints.

The “gold” is that the boyfriend who’s obviously younger is a yahoo boy that has money to throw around. They become loyal and respectful to those young enough to be their junior brothers. This is thesame girl that can’t cook or wash for his father or mother at their family house.

It’s not new to hear of many young girls, undergraduates who announce how God has done wonders for them. We have heard such testimonies like, “I bought my first house at 21, what God cannot do doesn’t exist”. That could’ve been the testimony of the Ataga killer, the 21years old Chidinma Ojukwu had she succeeded and gown scotfree. 

In our secondary schools, students of not more than 17years answer such names like: B-Lord, J-wire wire, Sir. M, Mr. Moneyman, Alusi-ego, Akubiggy, Asian-Cash, Swisstrade, Investor Mike et al. These are all in consonance that yes, we are fraudster and proud of same. 

These young secondary school boys drive with Benzos to school, gift their teachers lift after school and some of the fearless ones even ask their young female teachers out, especially the Corpers amongst them. 

They take them to lunch or dinner, to pub or club for “dorime” session, and yes, they can end up in hotel rooms, doing long donkey rides on a bumpy bed, while the young student shouts in powerful and fulfillment, his teacher moans in estacy - student and his teacher. 

Our universities are even worse. Time and time again, lecturers complain that they arrive for lectures only to find out that the parking lot has been filled up with super rides and very exotic cars. The yahoo boys attend lectures with vehicles that can cover the six years pay of their Professor lecturers. Even when not enrolled into school, they go after in pursuance of female final year students and for money-sake, get them to bed. 

Quite sadly, these are young people sent to school to learn, but they’ve so suddenly turned to become mischief-makers and shockingly, pride in it. I’m particularly angered by the actions of those young boys and the girl that they abused. The boyfriend is a criminal, and so is his friends. They’ve absolutely no rights to so recklessly abuse that girl. No girl deserves such ill-treatment. 

They could’ve collected back all their gifts, remarkably the iPhone 11 Pro Max, taken back all that is theirs and broken the relationship. The choice of beating her up, molesting, abusing and raping her in marathonic style for a whole twenty-four hours is the big crime. However, I hope nemesis catches up with those boys. 

It’s about time when our young girls learn. A lot happens and more shocking news continue to happen. When you accept to be in a relationship with a ruthless drug-driven mischief, anything can happen. They can beat you silly. They can break bottles on your head for fun. They can can stab for fun. They can kill for fun too. That could be the rage or their estacy. 

As a rule, while growing up and especially during their studentship/undergraduate years, I always insisted on my two beautiful sisters, “never ask of another man, that which our father, or we your brothers cannot afford or may be unwilling to gift you”. 

That shaped their mindset, and today, whenever I look back and remember those past years with nolstagia, I feel very happy about those years past, especially as they’ve now grown to become amazing wives, mothers and are gainfully employed in their chosen career paths and spheres. I would tell same to my daughters and their nieces. They must as a rule, be contented. 

In-between, why do women always fall cheaply for those bad boys, as to choices of good guys?
