1 Suspect In Custody After CCTV Shows 12-Year R@ped, Walking On Street For 2.5 Hrs In Ujjain


One person has been taken into custody by Special Investigation Team (SIT), informed Madhya Pradesh minister after 12-year-old girl was seen walking on streets of Ujjain in n@ked and blood-stained condition after she was r@ped, as reported by NDTV.


The visuals of the incident were caught on CCTV camera, shows a young girl wandering the streets of a residential area, desperately seeking assistance, only to be met with indifference and, in one instance, being forcefully dismissed by onlookers.

Responding to inquiries about the Ujjain incident, Madhya Pradesh's Home Minister, Narottam Mishra, informed NDTV, "We have formed a SIT, and a suspect has been apprehended. The young girl is currently struggling to communicate effectively. It appears she may not be from Ujjain but hails from another location."


Medical examinations have confirmed the girl's ordeal as rape. While she has been unable to provide her name and address to the police, her dialect suggests an origin from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, as indicated by senior police officer Sachin Sharma.


According to the police, the girl was found on Monday evening near Dandi Ashram, situated along Badnagar Road within the jurisdiction of the Mahakal police station. Her clothing was in tatters, and her body bore the grim traces of substantial bleeding. The tragic details surrounding the case were unveiled when it was revealed that the girl, with nowhere else to turn, had resorted to seeking aid within the Sanvarakhedi Simhastha Bypass communities. However, a distressing video clip depicted her appeals for help being met with callous disregard


It was found out later that the girl, reportedly covering a distance of over eight kilometers during a strenuous journey spanning more than two and a half hours, finally encountered a compassionate ashram priest who came to her aid. The priest offered the girl a towel to preserve her dignity and escorted her on foot to the district hospital for a comprehensive medical examination.

Iran: Man hanged in public in Gharchak (west of Tehran) 1 man was hanged publicly in the town of Gharchak (Qarchak; Tehran province) early this morning. According to the state run Iranian news agency Fars, a 29 years old man identified as Bakhshali Asgari was hanged convicted of murdering a 9 year-old girl and her grandmother, sexual abuse of the girl and stealing the woman’s jewelry in 2009.
